This park, just off Marine Drive, has been renamed by the locals as 'Crappy Valley'. 'Happy Valley' was once a wonderful place to walk around to enjoy GOD's beauty without having to watch your back as you have to do these days. Tourists beware, this place is known for rapes, handbag snatchings, and stabbings. Do not be duped by the general beauty of the tranquil surroundings. In South Africa there is a criminal behind every bush. If you insist on going to "Happy Valley", then preferably go with a group of friends, and stick together while you're there!
