Visitors to PE, also known as the “The Friendly City” one can check out the coffee shop named Bocadillos which is about a hundred meters up the road from here. This area is near St Peters the church which is now a ruin. Driving West along this road is Walmer the affluent area where one can shop at the Walmer Shopping center.

Port Elizabeth has lost many tourist attractions foreign and local since the advent of the ANC rise to power in this area. The loss of the demise of the “Apple Express” steam train, the museum Snake Park, The dolphins at Bay World, the Bay World Aquarium, the Catamaran Bay excursions, the demise of the Boet Erasmus Stadium, etc. Very sad.
