The Blessings of Immigration Algoa Bay Port Elizabeth

Postcard source unknown

In 1820 many immigrants from Britain took up offers to live in Africa under the CROWN. However, the continued dialogue of settlers with family back home in England concerning the Frontier wars slowed potential immigration to a trickle. The advent of the Black Communist Regime taking over South Africa in 1994 sparked an exodus of over one million whites seeking refuge abroad. This post card was indicative of peoples perceptions of Africa at the time, yet the post card is in fact prophetic, see the website www.censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com
