Animal carvings from Jeffrey's Bay
These were wooden carvings of African animals being sold from the back of a bakkie at the beach in Jeffrey's Bay. The large elephant in the picture took two years to sculpt from the artists head without the use of pictures i was told. A smaller carving of a Eland a third of the size cost R30K.
